Eric & Lauren

Eric & Lauren’s wedding day was so much fun! Her elegant sense of style was inspired by French country design, and it was wonderfully well-suited to the new Ivy Rose Barn, where the pristine white colors and antique gold accents were the perfect backdrop to their dusty rose, cabernet and navy color palette. She purchased her fresh flowers in bulk and the bridal party made their own amazing bouquets and boutonnieres.

That afternoon, more than 200 guests gathered for their ceremony in front of the Ivy Rose Barn, an oasis tucked away in a rural corner of Virginia’s rolling Blue Ridge foothills. As the sun went down and the cool night air began to set in, dinner and dancing continued in the breezy pavilion on the back on the building. We were able to sneak out several times for groom & bride portraits, and Eric and Lauren are always soooo much fun to photograph. (Even at their engagement session, where they almost caught hypothermia on the beach, they were champs.) The way they look at each other - the way he makes her laugh every few seconds - it’s moments like this that we’re more proud to capture so that their children can look back at them one day and be amazed at their parents’ love for each other.
